With a separate one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage in the backyard, this unique setup is ideal for multigenerational parties, families traveling with little ones, or those seeking more privacy. The fully fenced-in backyard is great for those bringing their pets along, and the permanent play structure is perfect for parents excited to have their children get some wiggles out. This delightful home previously had 50+ five-star reviews and is now under new management. All our guests have been delighted with the extensive amenities, especially those in the kitchen. Welcome to the Yellowbird Retreat!
Centrally located to all of Walla Walla's finest wineries, shops, and our Historic Downtown. No matter which way you decide to travel you are just 3 miles to nearly any destination. Which include Main Street Walla Walla and our Southside wineries. Recently remodeled and updated while preserving the 1950s charm.
Mixing the old and the new, this space is equipped with smart devices throughout. Easy to play your music through the speakers, change the temperature with your words, and stream your own movies from your phone to the TV or stream from your favorite accounts. Each room is equipped with a nightlight/white noise maker. Original door knobs, bathtub, and beautifully restored hardwood floors. Expect some squeaks from the antique floors! As an added bonus the charming cottage is yours to retreat to as well. In the cottage, enjoy a full kitchen with a dinette, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a living room with Smart TV to stream from your accounts. This allows for an additional 4 guests and is separate from the main house for added privacy.
Enjoy the Private Backyard Oasis - vine-covered shade arbor, mature trees, and flowers give total privacy, BBQ grill (propane provided), ample seating for dining "Al Fresco" and lounging. Fully-fenced for kids and pets.
GUEST ACCESS
You will be given a house code for the Smart Locks. We do have a ring doorbell camera to monitor the front doors and guests checking in and out. Guests have access to all areas of the house except the locked storage areas and garage.
This is a pet-friendly property with 2 dogs maximum and a $100 flat fee. Must be in the reservation. The cancellation policy applies to pets too.
A 4% merchant service processing fee will be applied to all cancellations (except for Marriott reservations).
The entire property is yours to enjoy.

This was the perfect spot for our family! The home and cottage was decorated beautifully to the smallest detail. The mix of spaces worked well for play of grandchildren and naps, and also had great places indoors and outdoors for adults to relax. The yard was perfect for the dogs and the kids, and each evening after the kids were tucked in the adults enjoyed conversation in the Adirondack chairs under the ambiance of the yard lights. Would definitely recommend!

This home was beautiful and the layout was perfect for our extended family. The house was clean, had a fully loaded kitchen, beautiful backyard and was such a fun place to hang out. Alexa was so helpful and responsive. Upon arrival we found that the pack n play had a broken piece and couldn’t be set up safely. She found us another one and delivered it so quickly. Her responsiveness and helpfulness was amazing. Also, check out instructions were quick and simple. We will definitely be coming back to his house when we visit next.

The Yellowbird house was perfect for our family and two dogs! Spacious and clean, close to Walla Walla. The yard is beautiful with a great sitting area. The kids loved the play structure. We will definitely stay here again!

A lovely home with a detached unit. A fun play structure for my 3 year old niece. wonderful yard. I wish I knew this was an option 2 years ago for my daughter's high school graduation. I would stay again in a heartbeat!
