About this place
Step back in time at Syvila’s Cottage, a charming 1940s bungalow that has remained in the same family and been thoughtfully renovated for today. The original character remains, paired with an updated kitchen and bath for a comfortable Walla Walla stay.
Inside, the cottage offers two queen bedrooms, one bathroom, a welcoming living room, and an easy space for four to settle in. But the real surprise is outside. The nearly half-acre, fully fenced backyard feels like a private garden retreat, with mature trees, colorful landscaping, and covered outdoor dining—perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon in the shade, or dinner after a day of wine tasting.
All of this is tucked into a quiet residential setting just a quick four-minute drive from downtown Walla Walla.
Please note: Syvila’s Cottage is a strictly no-pet property. We appreciate guests respecting the homeowner’s pet policy.
Exterior Security Cameras: For guest and property security, there is a Ring doorbell camera at the front entrance facing the front door and walkway, and an exterior security camera overlooking the backyard. There are no cameras inside the home.

What? I don’t live here! Well, shoot. We were so comfortable here, we forgot we actually live in another state. What an exceptional stay we had! This house is perfect in all aspects; 1) Cleanliness, 2) Comfort, 3) Parking, 4) Outdoor ambience, 5) Church across the street which we enjoyed, 6) Location & 7) Walla Walla. Sitting outside on the back patio was the highlight of our stay. Walla Walla in itself has a lot to offer. The wineries are delightful. The weather was great. We did a lot of walking around the neighborhood. The history of the home was interesting. It was a great place to rest in our travels! Thank you Alexa!

Absolute little gem in Walla Walla! Bestie and I ditched the men and took off for a girl’s weekend in wine country. This little cottage was the perfect peaceful home away from home. Close enough to “downtown”, parks all around, and a backyard the was picture perfect. House was very comfortable and clean. We’re already checking our calendars to do it again!!

This was the perfect place to relax over a weekend of celebrating a friend's bridal shower. The house had everything we needed for our stay and the meals we made. Beds were very comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet, peaceful & safe. The garden was spectacular! Cups of coffee on the back patio in the morning were the perfect way to start the day. We loved our stay and hope to return.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay because it was quiet and I loved the expansive backyard. I appreciated the position of the floodlights too because I had to leave the house in the late evening so having those lights turn on exactly where and when I needed was very nice.
