About this place
Tucked away just outside Walla Walla, this peaceful cabin getaway offers a quiet escape surrounded by nature, comfort, and thoughtful design. Set above a creek and surrounded by old-growth trees in the Blue Mountains, the property feels private and immersive while still within easy reach of town—approximately 20 minutes from Walla Walla.
Accessible by a paved, county-maintained road, the cabin offers a secluded setting that remains approachable and comfortable year-round. Mornings begin with coffee overlooking the trees, afternoons are spent exploring the surrounding landscape or relaxing creekside, and peaceful evenings invite quiet conversation around the fire pit beneath the porch lights or cozy nights beside the wood-burning stove.
Inside, the cabin reflects a calm, considered approach to design. Natural wood elements, layered blues, and thoughtfully curated details—many inspired by the owners’ time in Scandinavia—create a space that feels warm, simple, and inviting. Known as a “hytte” in Norwegian, the cabin draws subtle inspiration from Scandinavian traditions of warmth, simplicity, and connection to nature.
The cabin features one private queen bedroom along with a queen memory foam sleeper sofa in the main living area, comfortably accommodating up to 4 overnight guests. Thoughtfully designed for couples or small groups seeking a peaceful retreat, the home feels both intimate and easy to settle into.
The covered patio, set just above the creek, offers a beautiful space for outdoor dining, morning coffee, or simply enjoying the surrounding landscape. Nearby hillsides and natural areas invite quiet exploration and connection to the outdoors.
Due to the natural terrain, creek access, and surrounding outdoor spaces, the property is best suited for children ages 7 and older. We kindly ask that children remain supervised while exploring the property and surrounding landscape.
Guests have exclusive access to the entire cabin and surrounding grounds.

My sister and I chose this place for the beautiful surroundings and proximity to Walla Walla. In the end, we never left the cabin. Sitting on the patio watching the butterflies and birds, listening the the babbling brook, and enjoying the beautiful view, we decided we didn't need to go anywhere else!

Biscuit Ridge Cabin is definitely a place I will visit again! It was private, peaceful, and incredibly clean. The room and amenities were spotless, and communication with Alexa was excellent from start to finish. One tip: bring everything you need because the cabin is fully equipped for cooking, so there’s no need to leave. I had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back!

The cabin was almost exactly as described and pictured. The only difference, it felt more spacious than we expected, especially the porch and deck, which were comfortably set up. The location is quiet and relaxing. It was a relief to have a truly well-outfitted kitchen. The interior is newly redone and lovely, and especially appealing for those of Norwegian and Swedish descent! Both beds were very comfortable. Alexa, the manager, responded pleasantly and quickly to all inquiries, and one of the owners, Marshall, was friendly and above and beyond helpful when he came out to make a small repair we requested. The creek was low, as our visit was later in the season of a dry year, but still pleasantly babbling. The neighbors are far enough away to be pretty much invisible, except for the occasional cow wandering the woods across the creek, and their dog (who we never actually saw), who likes to run off with shoes left outside overnight. We would certainly love to stay here again!
