Just a short walk from downtown Walla Walla, Downtown Charmer is an inviting two-bedroom home made for an easy wine country getaway. Whether it’s a few days away together or a weekend with another couple, restaurants, tasting rooms, coffee shops and downtown favorites are close by, while home feels comfortably removed from the bustle.
This renovated 1940s home is bright, welcoming and thoughtfully updated, with original character complemented by modern touches. The living and dining spaces flow easily together, giving you a comfortable place to start the morning over coffee, relax between tastings or gather over a bottle brought home from the day’s adventures. A full kitchen has everything you need when you’d rather stay in.
Two bedrooms—one king and one queen—sleep up to four guests, and the beautifully updated bathroom offers a spacious walk-in shower and double vanity. A washer and dryer add a little extra convenience for longer stays.
Out back, a private fenced yard extends the living space outdoors with a large patio, covered area and propane BBQ. It’s an easy spot for a slow morning, an afternoon glass of wine or dinner outside before wandering downtown for the evening.
With off-street parking at home and so much of Walla Walla within walking distance, Downtown Charmer makes it easy to arrive, settle in and spend your time enjoying the reason you came.

One of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed! Loved walking around the neighborhood, there are lots of gorgeous old houses and it’s peaceful and quiet. A Natural Grocers just went in down the street - very convenient.

This little house was charming, as described. We loved the back yard space for an evening cocktail and the outdoor table for breakfast. The location is ideal! We walked to coffee, downtown shopping, tasting rooms and dinner every night. Kitchen is well equipped and the welcome wine was a nice touch. Our host was very responsive to our one request and checked in proactively several times. Would stay again!

We loved Alexa’s walk to town location. The house had obviously been redone recently - new bathroom, furniture, decor, paint, etc. very nicely done. The place was spotless. Would have loved to enjoy the very inviting backyard, but didn’t have time on this trip. However, we did enjoy sitting out on the front porch one evening sipping the “welcome wine” left for us by Alexa. We absolutely loved the place and will be back!

Alexa’s place was clean, charming and comfortable. It’s a great location in a nice neighborhood- we walked to restaurants, shops and tasting rooms. It also has a nice private background, which we found to be a nice place to read on a sunny afternoon.

We loved staying at Alexa’s Walla Walla home! It was a perfect, cozy home base for our family of four to visit the area. We easily walked downtown several times, and when we weren’t exploring, the backyard was such a peaceful and relaxing space. We can’t wait to stay again next time we’re in town!

Wonderful cozy house, located at a quiet neighborhood but at the same time just a 5-min walk from the main downtown area with restaurants, shops, and wine tasting. Everything was very much within waking distance, so we barely had to use our car. The house was very well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The host sent us detailed instructions, including a super helpful online house manual. We would certainly like to stay there again when we visit Walla Walla!
